About us

- Why quit your job to travel?
- Why not?

We suddenly found ourselves having the important requirements for such an enterprise: the will to do it, the necessary funds, no liabilities and good company (one another). More than a "now or (maybe) never" matter, traveling while still young means putting forward some knowledge about the world before we settle down somewhere. If a great deal of life is making decisions, widening our set of options seems a good idea.

Rafael: fear not, I got food!
A little bit more information on each of us:

Rafael: born in 1987, graduated in Physics Engineering in 2009 at Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil. Worked for 3 years at Petrobras, a Brazilian NOC. Quit his job, got an eye surgery, went to see the world.

Livia: born in 1986, graduated in Physics Engineering in 2009 at Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil. Worked for 3 years at Bain & Company, a management consulting firm. Quit her job, never had to use glasses, went to see the world.

Livia: damn, someone turned gravity off!

Our trip has no deadlines. We'll probably travel for about a year, there is no fixed date to go back home so far. Though we call the trip "round the world", we won't necessarily go round the globe. We intend to follow good weather when possible, with main destinations in Europe and Asia (so far). This is a plan-on-the-go trip, so suggestions are welcome.

Hope you enjoy sharing this amazing experience with us!
